ABSTRACT:
An alternating current solenoid having a quadriateral frame and a coil-wound plastic bobbin disposed therein is encapsulated in a resin block opening outwardly at one end with a pole piece extending into the block through such end and through the frame and into a plunger guideway formed by the barrel of the bobbin, the opposite end of the block interiorally defining an extension of the guideway and closing the end thereof remote from the pole piece.
