ABSTRACT:
Pressure-sensitive adhesives are formed of a diester of fumaric acid, preferably dibutyl fumarate; an alkyl acrylate, preferably 2-ethylhexylacrylate; an alkyl methacrylate, preferably methylmethacrylate; and, desirably, a crosslinkable carboxylic acid. The adhesives are preferably formed in two-stage, free-radical polymerization.
