ABSTRACT:
An emulsifiable composition for the control of insects comprising as active ingredient thereof a compound of formula (I) and a pyrethroid and further comprising a weakly polar solvent, an emulsifying agent and a water-soluble solvent, wherein formula (I) is: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 is halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 haloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 haloalkoxy or SF.sub.5 ;
R.sup.2 is hydrogen or halogen, the R.sup.2 substituents being identical or different;
R.sup.4 is halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 haloalkyl;
R.sup.5 is halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or amino; and
n is 0, 1 or 2.
