This invention is directed to dry, negatively charged toner compositions and developer compositions which employ, as a charge-control agent, a compound selected from the group consisting of phthalimide, 4-aminophthalimide and 4-tert-butylphthalimide; as well as to methods of utilizing such compositions in electrostatographic imaging systems.
