ABSTRACT:
An electrostatic spray gun for powdered material in which separate connecns for supplying powder and compressed gas are provided. An intake for introducing the powdered material to a conveying gas stream, and a spray tube and spray nozzle are also provided with the gun. A charging device charges the powder electrostatically. The connections for the powder and compressed gas supply, as well as an injector are held in a common housing portion. Supply channels for the powder and conveying gas lead from their respective connections to the injector. A metering gas channel leads from the compressed gas connection to the powder supply channel, and control valves are provided in the metering gas channel and the conveying gas channel. The common housing portion has a connection for a powder magazine and a connection for loosening gas to be supplied to the magazine. This connection leads to the compressed air connection via a passage located in the housing portion and having an additional control valve.
