ABSTRACT:
An electrophotographic photoreceptor having a layer that contain at least one compound represented by the following general formula (I): ##STR1## where R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 each represents an optionally substituted alkyl, aralkyl, aryl or heterocyclic group, provided that R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may combine to form a cyclic amino group containing a nitrogen atom; X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 each represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a lower alkyl group having 1-5 carbon atoms, a lower alkoxy group having 1-5 carbon atoms, a halogen atom, an allyl group, an aryl group or an acylamino group.
