ABSTRACT:
An electrophotosensitive member is uniformly charged and portions to be toned by one type toner are erased. Those portions are filled in with a charge of different potential, for example, a charge of polarity opposite to that of the original charge. The charged member is imagewise exposed and developed with two toners selectively attractive to the different charge potentials. With this method a multicolor image can be formed iwth a single exposure.
