ABSTRACT:
An electrophotographic element utilizing as a charge generation material a disazo pigment having the following general formula: ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy, nitro, dimethylamino, diethylamino or phenyl; m and n are each an integer such as 1 or 2; and R.sup.2 is hydrogen or chlorine.
