ABSTRACT:
An improved electrophoretic imaging process is provided wherein the improvement comprises the use of electrostatic charge-bearing particles having an electrically photosensitive pigment which is the reaction product of 2,3-naphthalenediol and a diazonium salt. Preferred pigments have the following structure: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 is a lower alkoxy group or --OCH.sub.2 CONH.sub.2 ;
