ABSTRACT:
A method of manufacturing an electrophoretic display sheet that includes: applying a mixture of a plurality of microcapsules and a binder on a substrate, the substrate having a first contact angle θ1between a reference liquid, each of the microcapsules having a second contact angle θ2between the reference liquid, the binder having a third contact angle θ3between the reference liquid, the θ1,the θ2,and the θ3having a relationship of θ3>θ2>θ1;and evaporating the mixture to form an electrophoretic layer on the substrate, the electrophoretic layer including the plurality of the microcapsules.
