ABSTRACT:
An electrooptic device includes a first substrate10, wiring16provided along one side of the first substrate10to extend to another side crossing the one side, and a coating layer30coating the wiring16. Conceivable examples of the electrooptic device include a liquid crystal device, and an EL device. In the liquid crystal device, the coating layer30can be formed by a sealing material for bonding together the first substrate10and a second substrate20opposed to each other. The wiring16is coated with the coating layer30to be cut off from contact with the outside air.
