ABSTRACT:
The invention provides an electrooptic device and an electronic device in which a region that does not directly contribute to the display can be narrowed by improving the layout of peripheral circuits. In a TFT array substrate of a liquid crystal device, unit circuits that form shift register circuits are formed in unit-circuit forming regions spaced from each other in the X-direction, and the X-direction pitch of the circuit units is shorter than the X-direction pitch of pixel rows. Consequently, a wide free region in which the unit circuits 101eare not formed can be formed between the unit-circuit forming regions, and identification marks can be formed in the region.
