ABSTRACT:
A liquid crystal device1, that is, an electrooptic device, has a second electrode11provided so as to oppose a first electrode10, and a liquid crystal provided between the first electrode10and the second electrode11. This liquid crystal device1further has a first substrate2on which the first electrode10is provided and a wire14which is formed on the first substrate2and is electrically connected to the second electrode11at a conduction position4a. Since the wire14extends inside the conduction position4a, the picture frame region that is outside a sealing material4can be decreased.
