ABSTRACT:
An electronic weighing apparatus is disclosed which detects weight of a subject by variation in capacitance, converts an oscillating output of an oscillating circuit corresponding to said variation in capacitance and displays the converted value on a display. In this apparatus, a solar battery and a supplementary cell are employed as a power source and on-off control of electric power supply from the supplementary battery to each circuit of the apparatus is effected by the output voltage of the solar battery.
