ABSTRACT:
Here is disclosed an electronic still camera adapted to record a video information on an information recording medium such as video floppy disc, card memory or the like.
This electronic still camera comprises an assembly of a box-like configuration with its height larger than its width, the assembly including a lens unit located in a front area within the camera and a memory drive unit and a battery unit located in a rear area within the camera, wherein the respective units and components are assembled together around the lens unit serving as a supporting base.
