ABSTRACT:
Electronic equipment for scoring fencing bouts in which each fence is provided with a unit including a transmitter of a predetermined frequency and an aperiodic receiver. Each fencer's unit also includes a pulse generator whose pulses are used to distinguish valid touches, touches on the opposing weapon and the ground as well as touches on other conductive surfaces.
