An electronic device with a display device and a mobile phone wherein if a shock of falling or the like, is added to a housing, the shock is hard to transmit to an end face of the display device are provided.For a shock acting on a housing11by falling or the like, since a projection portion36having a recess36ais provided between an inner wall31of an accommodation portion30and a frame33, the shock from the inner wall31is relieved or absorbed by the projection portion36, particularly, the recess36a. Accordingly, if a shock of falling or the like, is added to the housing11, a display device40can be protected from the shock.
