ABSTRACT:
An electronic device, a display processing method and a program for displaying a direction and distance of a moving body outside of a displayed range of a map, seen from a certain position on the map and a moving direction of the moving body at a time, are provided. A calculation portion calculates a distance from a current position of a portable device3to the destination based on the current position information and position information of the destination included in map data; a moving direction specifying portion specifies a current moving direction of the portable device; a display processing portion determines a position, size and direction of an arrow on the map based on the current position information of the portable device, position information of the destination, a distance between the destination and the current position, and the moving direction and generates a map image to be displayed.
