ABSTRACT:
An electronic apparatus system comprises a portable computer and an expansion unit containing a FDD for expanding the function of the computer. The computer has an inlet into which a memory card having a terminal is accessibly inserted, and a first connector is provided in the inlet, and the terminal of the memory card is detachably connected to the first connector. The expansion unit attaches underneath the computer and has a second connector connected to the FDD. The second connector is accessibly inserted into the third thru an opening in the bottom of the computer and connected to the first connector at the time of the insertion, so that the computer and the expansion unit are electrically connected to each other. The second connector is mounted on a slider.
