ABSTRACT:
An electromagnetic relay prevents appropriately invasion of a sealant. A coil block3produced by winding a coil29on a core27through a spool28and connecting the coil29to coil terminals42disposed at flanges28aand28bof the spool28is put onto a base1. The through-holes15are sealed under the state where the coil terminals42protrude from the through-holes15formed in the base1. An attraction surface27aof the plate27is positioned on the side of the base1so that a moving iron plate32can be attracted and operated between the coil block3and the base1. An increased thickness portion41into which the coil terminal42can be pushed is formed in each flange28a,28bof the spool28and a recess43for storing a sealant entering inside from the through-hole15is formed around the coil terminal42.
