ABSTRACT:
Compartmented EMI shielding structures formed integrally with a printed circuit board having a ground-plane element. An elongated strip of metal having means facilitating manual assembly including grooves or channels for controlled bending of the metal is first defined by chemical etching and then formed by bending under finger pressure into wall elements of a compartmented EMI shield.
