Description

ABSTRACT:
In an electromagnetic contactor100for passing a current through an electromagnet301from a power source402and moving a movable core1from a first position in which a gap to a fixed core20is wide to a second position in which the gap is narrow by electromagnetic force and opening or closing a contact, there is provided an attraction force control part303for passing a strong acceleration current E1through the electromagnet301for a predetermined time so that acceleration in the second position of the movable core1becomes a predetermined value and passing a suction current E6through the electromagnet301in substantially the second position.
