ABSTRACT:
An electromagnetic clutch1is disclosed having a magnetic flux loop31formed, in magnetic flux loop forming members5, 7, 9, 11, 13involving an electromagnet5and an armature13, by the electromagnet5to allow the armature13to be operatively shifted to couple and uncouple a clutch11, and a proximate member, close proximate to the members5, 7, 9, 11, 13, includes magnetic flux leakage minimizing sections15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25that minimize magnetic fluxes leaked from the armature13to the proximate member.
