ABSTRACT:
A layer is spaced between an anode and a cathode and is composed of an organic compound represented by the following general formula [1].wherein R1to R10are each independently a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a substituted amino group, an alkyl group, an aryl group, and a heterocyclic group; and X represents (a) an alkylene group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms, wherein in the alkylene group, one or separate two methylene groups may be substituted by —O—, —CO—, —CO—O—, —S—, or —NRa1—, and a hydrogen atom may be substituted by a linear, branched, or cyclic alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms, (b) an aryl group which may be substituted, or (c) a heterocyclic group which may be substituted, or (d) a fluorine atom.
