ABSTRACT:
An electrodeless discharge lamp has a magnetic core3, an induction coil5, and a fixation member7. The fixation member7has an elongation portion7bextending in a direction along an axial line of the magnetic core3, a holding portion7cfor holding the magnetic core3positioned closer to the magnetic core3than the elongation portion7b, and hook portions7dand7eto which a winding wire7is hooked so as to be inflected. The hook portions7dand7epositioned away from a boundary between the holding portion7cand magnetic core3toward the elongation portion7bby a distance between once and twice of a diameter of the winding wire.
