ABSTRACT:
An electrode, or grounding pad for contact with a living body comprises a conductive substrate of a textile having conductive fibers, a conductive adhesive layer containing carbon fibers for contacting the surface of the living body and being affixed to the conductive substrate, and an electrical connection to the conductive substrate.
