ABSTRACT:
There is proposed an electrode plate for a color display device such as a liquid crystal display device, which comprises a transparent substrate, a color filter disposed on the substrate, a transparent electrode formed on the color filter, and a metal conductor containing nickel and formed on the transparent electrode. The metal conductor may be a multi-layer structure wherein one of the layers is a nickel of a nickel alloy layer.
