ABSTRACT:
The invention provides an electrode material, and a method for its manufacture, for use in electrochemical reactions comprising bulk titanium oxide having the general formula TiO.sub.x where x is from 1.55 to 1.95 and also electrochemical cells including an electrode formed from such a material.
