ABSTRACT:
A microreactor for use in an electrode system of a fuel cell includes a filament having a supporting core and a plurality of spokes extending radially from the core, the filament forming an electrode against which a fuel component flows. A membrane is supported on the spokes to form flow channels for the fuel component, the filament and the membrane supporting each other.
