ABSTRACT:
Electrochemical luminescent cell having a spacing of the plates (1, 2) provided with electrodes (5 and 6, respectively) from 10 to 100 .mu.m, in which at least one of the oppositely located electrodes has a grid structure (13) or surface roughness, the size and mutual hole distance and maximum surface roughness of which, respectively, lie in the order of magnitude of the spacing (3) of the electrode plates.
