ABSTRACT:
An electrochemical device comprises a matrix60including an anode10and a cathode20, an electrolyte, and a shell50for accommodating the matrix60and electrolyte in a closed state. The shell50includes an upper lid52, a lower lid54, and a gasket56. At least one of the upper lid52and lower lid54is formed with a projection protruding toward the matrix60so that the upper lid52and the anode10electrically come into contact with each other and that the lower lid54and the cathode20electrically come into contact with each other.
