ABSTRACT:
An electro-acoustic transducer comprising a diaphragm (1) and means for shifting the high-frequency roll-off of the frequency-response characteristic of the transducer towards lower frequencies. This is accomplished by making the diaphragm (1) permeable to air, the permeability to air over the entire surface area of the diaphragm being such that at least a passage of 50 liters of air per second per square meter is obtained for a pressure difference of 200 Pa (=200 N/m.sup.2) between opposite sides of the diaphragm.
