ABSTRACT:
In a loudspeaker, a suitably formed edge part is provided around the periphery of the diaphragm to form a certain gap between the edge part and an edge receiving part which has an annular recess corresponding to the configuration of the edge part, so that the pressure gradient in the gap is in balance with the surrounding pressure gradient, with the result that the air going in and out of the gap can be substantially neglected.
