ABSTRACT:
Improved silicone electrically conductive compositions can be prepared by using a polysiloxane which contains greater than 5 mole percent of the silicon atoms having an aromatic containing radical such as a phenyl radical attached, or having greater than 5 mole percent ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon radical such as vinyl radicals, or having greater than 5 mole percent aromatic containing radical such as phenyl and ethylenically unsaturated hydrocarbon radical such as vinyl radicals in combination, in combination with from 12.5 to 50 volume percent of the total composition of silver particles or particles having an outer surface of silver. The composition has an electrical resistivity of less than 1.times.10.sup.-2 ohm-cm and the electrical resistivity is stable to thermal aging.
