ABSTRACT:
This is an apparatus for producing prepared food by electrical conduction automatically as disclosed. A control circuit senses the rate of change of current conducted through food as a function of its cooked condition, stops the current to the electrodes in response to a decline in current value through the food as measured against a predetermined value, and automatically retracts the cooking electrodes and any hot plates which may be used in the cooking process by pneumatic means.
