ABSTRACT:
An electrical discharge machining power supply circuit for machining a workpiece, including: a power supply circuit; a first circuit including a first switching device and a first rectifying device; a second circuit including a second switching device and a second rectifying device; an electrical discharge machining electrode for providing an electrical discharge to the workpiece; and a first circuit device for preventing an excessive current generated by wiring inductance in the circuit from damaging at least the first switching device.
