ABSTRACT:
An electrical connector includes an insulative housing having a base portion and a tongue potion extending forwardly from the base portion. The base portion has a mounting surface for being mounted to a printed circuit board upwardly, and a lower surface opposite to the mounting surface. The tongue portion has an upper side face, and a lower side face opposite to the upper side face. The mounting surface and the upper side face essentially are lied in a planar surface. A plurality of contacts are received the insulative housing and have contact portions exposed upon the upper side face of the tongue portion.
