ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a female-connector unit arranged to be used with a flat ribbon-type wire having a plurality of flat conductive elements. The female connector includes a pair of oppositely positioned half sections which are coupled together by means of latching-tongue members, a pair of connector fingers being fixedly mounted between the half sections. This pair of connector fingers includes means for fixedly stapling them together and to the terminal end of the flat ribbon wire.
