ABSTRACT:
An electrical connector (10) comprises a substantially rectangular peripheral wall (13) having an upper face, a receiving space (16) for receiving a mating connector (30), and a plurality of terminals (12) arranged in a pair of opposed walls of the peripheral wall. The upper face of the peripheral wall includes a first surface (13A), a second surface (13B′), and a slant surface (13C) in a transit area between the first and second surfaces of the upper face.
