ABSTRACT:
An electrical connector system comprises a shutter (15) having shutter members (16and17) with arms (21) pivoted to the end walls of a receptacle (1). The shutter members (16and17) are biased by a spring member (18) such that the sliding sections (20) are closed to cover a plug fitting section (39) and opened by guide pins (37) that are provided on a plug connector (2).
