ABSTRACT:
An engagement portion24of a locking member5, which is inserted through a locking member insertion hole10into a connector housing2, is engaged with the connector housing2. Additionally, a connector terminal4accommodated in a connector housing2is locked with the locking member5. The locking member5includes a pair of fitting pieces12, each of which is provided with said engagement portion24and supported resiliently. An engagement release tool27is inserted into the connector housing2through an engagement release hole25provided on the connector housing2. Then, the engagement release tool27deflects the fitting piece12to release an engagement of the engagement portion24of the fitting piece12with the connector housing2.
