An electric wire connecting device50has a housing53as an outer body; a screw55that can rotate freely about a rotation axis55aat a prescribed position in the housing53but is prevented from moving in the axial direction; a slider57that is threadedly engaged with the screw55and makes a go-movement or a return-movement in accordance with the rotation direction of the screw55; a guide hole61through which to introduce an electric wire59into the housing53; and a cam63that is in contact with a go-side surface91or a return-side surface93of the slider57and rotates clockwise or counterclockwise in accordance with the movement direction of the slider57, and presses, at a prescribed rotation position, a portion of the electric wire59that is located in the guide hole61.
