ABSTRACT:
An electric vacuum cleaner includes a nozzle assembly5including: a base member6; a movable member7inversely rotatably attached to the base member6and having one surface formed with a suction opening20; and a covering member8movably attached to the base member6. Holding members22for holding a cleaning sheet21are formed on the other surface of the movable member7. When the one surface of the movable member7faces a floor surface and the other surface thereof is covered by the covering member8, the electric vacuum cleaner can pick up filth through the suction opening20. When the movable member7is rotated inversely so that the cleaning sheet21faces the floor surface, the electric vacuum cleaner can catch the filth by the cleaning sheet21and pick up the relatively large filth via a communicating path34formed in between the movable member7and the covering member8, and the suction opening20connected to the communicating path34.
