An electric power tool including a housing2having a motive power3, and a tool holder19coupled to said motive power3for receiving a cutting tool, a base plate4having an opening5through which said cutting tool extends, said base plate4being adjustable mounted to said housing by guide arms6, 7, the position of said cutting tool being varied by adjusting the position of the base plate4relative to the housing2, said tool holder19being able to extend through the opening5of the base plate4for easier access to the tool holder, a slave pin24in the housing2adapted to engage a recess in the tool holder to lock the tool holder19against rotation to enable single-handed removal of a tool from the tool holder19from above a tool table, such as a router table.
