ABSTRACT:
An electric power supply includes: a full-wave rectifier to rectify full-wave rectifying an ac input voltage; a switch for switching an output current of the rectifier; a signal generator for generating a target signal to force a dc output voltage to follow a reference voltage, and a controller for controlling a switching timing of the switch and for repeating the operations of turning off the switch when a current detection signal of the switch complies with the target signal and turning on the switch again after a predetermined short period of time.
