ABSTRACT:
The invention provides an electric power steering system which is adapted to enhance the versatility of a detector coil including lead pins and which may be manufactured at low costs. The electric power steering system PS of the invention has an arrangement wherein lead pins11of a detector coil6and a control board30constituting a control unit10are interconnected via a wire harness13. The lead pin11and the wire harness13are interconnected via a conductive sleeve terminal14. The sleeve terminal14includes: a cylindrical sleeve portion40fitted about the lead pin11; and a connection portion41connected with the wire harness13and upstanding from an outside periphery of the sleeve portion40.
