ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to electric insulating oils consisting of mineral oils having boiling point of 200.degree. C. or higher, preferably from 250.degree. to 450.degree. C., and having a viscosity of from 2 to 500 cst (at 40.degree. C.), pour point of -35.degree. C. or below, a sulfur content of 5 ppm or less and an aromatic hydrocarbon content (% C.sub.A) of 5% or less.
