ABSTRACT:
An electric fuse has a casing of synthetic-resin-glass-cloth laminate which includes a plurality of re-inforcement plies - of woven glass fiber cloth - to the exclusion of any non-woven mat material. There are along the wall of the casing cyclically alternating regions of relatively large and relatively small glass-to-resin content, which allows to impart substantially the same wall thickness to the entire perimeter of the casing.
