ABSTRACT:
There is disclosed an over-the-road truck having an internal combustion engine of at least 200 hp including a radiator and an electric fan assembly therefor consisting of an electric motor to which is attached an axial flow propeller fan and operating only when necessary and of a minimum wattage determined by W=1.75E wherein E is the engine horsepower provided that the core size (in.sup.2) of the radiator is 3E and the air flow (CFM) therethrough is at least 22.5E.
