Preventing an electric connecting box having an upper cover and a lower cover, which can prevent the upper cover from approaching the lower cover over a limit when an electric component is mounted on the upper cover, the electric connecting box1is provided with an upper cover2, a lower cover3, a middle cover4, a printed wire board5, a wiring board6and a shield plat7. The upper cover2is mounted on the lower cover3. The lower cover3has a first strut20abutting on the shield plate7. The first strut20supports the upper cover2through the shield plate7and the wiring board6.
